We are hiring a Full Stack Engineer to work on a pivotal Federal program that is making a positive impact on millions of Americans' daily lives. 

What you'll be doing:

As a Full Stack Engineer you will help build and maintain secure, scalable, and modern applications that support Medicaid and CHIP services for millions of beneficiaries. Working within a cross-functional Agile team, you will design backend services using Go and develop responsive, accessible front-end interfaces using React. You’ll also contribute to automation and low-code solutions via the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) to improve CMS workflows and support mission-critical digital transformation.

What you’ll bring:

  • 3+ years of full stack development experience with a focus on Golang (Go) or similar experience with backend APIs and microservices
  • 3+ years of experience building frontend interfaces with React, TypeScript, and responsive UI libraries (e.g., Material UI)
  • Experience integrating Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power Automate and Power Apps into enterprise workflows
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and backend integration with identity management and data services
  • Understanding of cloud-native development in AWS or Azure, including containerization with Docker/Kubernetes
  • Bonus: Knowledge of FHIR, Medicaid systems, 508 compliance, or CMS data models
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with sprints and daily stand-ups
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen and able to work domestically 
  • Must be able to attain low-level security clearance

Compensation:

At Oddball, it’s important each employee is compensated competitively and fairly. In alignment with state legal requirements. A range for the included position is listed below. Be advised, actual offer details are determined by job category, job location, and candidate skill level.

United States Wage Range: $100,000 – $130,000
