We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our team and contribute across both the front-end and back-end. This role offers the opportunity to work with a modern stack while also helping support some light DevOps responsibilities. You don’t need to be a dedicated DevOps engineer, but comfort with cloud infrastructure and tools like Terraform will allow you to make an immediate impact.
What you'll be doing:
- Design, build, and maintain full stack applications using React, Ruby on Rails, and Go
- Contribute to system architecture and technical decisions that improve scalability and performance
- Support cloud infrastructure needs, including basic AWS tasks and Terraform scripts, to help streamline deployments and free up DevOps resources
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features in an Agile environment
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while contributing to best practices and knowledge sharing
What you’ll bring:
- Professional experience as a Full Stack Developer, with strong skills in React and Rails (Go experience a plus)
- Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.) and ability to handle day-to-day infrastructure needs
- Hands-on experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and cloud-based application hosting
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to adapt across both application development and light DevOps tasks
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Bonus Skills
- Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools in AWS environments
- Contributions to open-source projects or a personal GitHub portfolio

Compensation:
At Oddball, it’s important each employee is compensated competitively and fairly. In alignment with state legal requirements. A range for the included position is listed below. Be advised, actual offer details are determined by job category, job location, and candidate skill level.
United States Wage Range: $100,000 – $150,000
