About the RoleWe are looking for a highly accomplished individual with a strong background in biology, chemistry, or medical sciences to support our Clinical Medical Assistant program as a grader and teaching assistant. In this role, you will grade student projects, provide meaningful feedback, and support our instructional team to ensure students succeed in their coursework. This is a fully remote, contract role with flexible hours, ideal for educators or advanced pre-med/medical students.
What You’ll DoReview and grade student assignments
Provide clear feedback to students
Communicate with instructors and students over email and other community tools
Join weekly meetings to receive guidance and direction from the internal team at Stepful
2+ years of experience teaching biology, chemistry, or a related medical course at the high school or college level
OR you are a pre-med or medical student in year 3 or beyondAvailability to work 20–40 hours per week
A passion for education and supporting student growth
A commitment to timely, thorough, and empathetic communication
You’ve worked as a Certified Medical Assistant
You’ve taught in a digital or hybrid learning environment (Zoom, Canvas, etc.)
