This is a remote position.
Our client is looking for a Full-Stack Product Engineer (UI/Brand/Design Focus) to take ownership of product experiences from backend architecture to polished frontend execution. They operate within the tech and creator platform space and have experienced strong product growth and expansion in recent years, building a robust and scalable ecosystem.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of engineering, design, and product thinking. The platform includes a wide range of features such as creator tools, public-facing profiles, community functionalities, administrative systems, and an extensive design system. They are seeking a professional who not only builds across the stack but also deeply cares about how the product feels, looks, and communicates its identity.
- Take full ownership of product features from database structure to final UI delivery, ensuring seamless end-to-end functionality
- Contribute to and evolve a large-scale design system with a focus on consistency, scalability, and strong visual identity
- Enhance the overall product experience by refining typography, color systems, layouts, animations, and responsive behaviors
- Develop and maintain features across the user journey, including onboarding, profile creation, content management, and subscription flows
- Collaborate on shaping product direction by contributing ideas around user experience, engagement, and feature prioritization
- Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and real-time functionalities alongside frontend development
- Ensure high-quality standards through testing frameworks, documentation, and continuous improvements to the component library
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience developing production-level web applications
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience working with backend systems and APIs
- Strong expertise in React and modern CSS frameworks such as Tailwind
- Experience working with full-stack environments including frontend and backend integration
- Knowledge of API design, database modeling, authentication processes, and asynchronous workflows
- Familiarity with modern frameworks such as Next.js and backend technologies like Node.js or similar
- Strong understanding of user experience, visual design principles, and product usability
- Proven experience building or maintaining scalable design systems or component libraries
- Ability to independently make UI/UX decisions and iterate without strict design specifications
- Experience with tools for testing, documentation, and UI validation
- Appreciation for branding and its role in product development
- Bonus: experience with modern libraries and tools such as state management solutions, query libraries, and advanced UI frameworks
