Our challenge

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer / Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience across backend Java technologies, modern frontend frameworks, RDBMS, API development, and cloud platforms.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $100k - $105k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based full stack applications using modern frameworks.
  • Build robust, scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Develop interactive, responsive UI components utilizing Angular and/or react.
  • Implement and optimize backend logic with Java, Spring Boot, and related tools.
  • Work with relational databases such as Oracle and MySQL to design schemas and queries.
  • Support data integration and transformation activities using SQL and SSIS.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, DevOps, QA, and Product teams.
  • Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms like Azure, GCP, and OpenShift/OCP.
  • Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and process improvements.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues swiftly.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Java / Java Full Stack Development.
  • Expertise in Core Java and Spring Boot.
  • Hands-on experience with Angular and/or react.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful API development.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and experience working with Oracle and MySQL databases.
  • Experience with SSIS or similar data integration tools.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms: Azure, GCP, OCP.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.

Preferred, but not required:

  • Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to serverless computing.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases.
  • DevOps automation tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
