Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary

AI is reshaping how we build. As development becomes faster, the challenge shifts to making strong technical decisions, designing scalable systems, and shipping high-quality software quickly.

We’re looking for a highly hands-on Full Stack Engineer who enjoys building end-to-end products, collaborating across teams, and using AI tools to accelerate development and iteration.

Responsibilities

• Drive implementation of product features and contribute to system design decisions
• Translate ambiguous problems into scalable, production-ready solutions
• Design and build backend services, APIs, and event-driven systems
• Write high-quality, production-ready code across the stack
• Collaborate effectively with Product, Design, Data, and Engineering teams to unblock progress and align on technical direction
• Make pragmatic tradeoffs across speed, scalability, and maintainability
• Improve reliability through testing, observability, and performance optimizations
• Participate actively in code reviews, both as author and reviewer
• Use AI tools to prototype, build, and debug more efficiently
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years building and shipping production applications
• Solid fundamentals in system design and backend architecture
• Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• Bias toward shipping quickly and learning from real user feedback
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across teams
• Experience integrating or building AI-powered systems or workflows is an asset

Tech Stack

• Backend: Python (FastAPI), async, SQLAlchemy, Postgres
• Event-driven systems + Redis (Streams/PubSub)
• Frontend: React + TypeScript, modern stack (Vite, Tailwind, shadcn/ui), REST and GraphQL APIs
• State/data: TanStack Query; validation (Pydantic)
• Infra: Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), CI/CD (GitHub Actions), GCP

Bonus

• Experience with RBAC / row-level security
• Familiarity with deep event-driven or pub/sub experience
• Experience building internal tools or platforms
• Exposure to observability and performance systems

Pay Scale

• $100,000 - $130,000 per year
• The final compensation within this range will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and overall fit for the role.
