We’re looking for a motivated Software Engineer II early in their career (~2-5 years of experience) who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to grow while building high-impact products. You’ll work closely with senior engineers to build end-to-end features that power Getlabs’ core applications. You’ll help shape the patient, specialist, and partner experience, from scheduling and communication to automating operational workflows and developing AI-powered tools.
At Getlabs, you will:
- Work in a fast-paced environment where you’ll learn quickly, take ownership, and ship impactful features
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver simple, user-friendly experiences
- Build and enhance core Getlabs applications across web, mobile (iOS), internal tools, and backend APIs
- Develop end-to-end features across the stack, including frontend UI, backend APIs, that enable appointment booking, route assignments, patient and partner workflows, real-time communication, and more
- Contribute to secure, HIPAA and SOC 2 compliant systems
- Continuously learn and adapt, producing high-quality work consistently and efficiently
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2 to 5 years of professional software engineering experience (or equivalent)
- Strong foundation in modern web development using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, CSS and HTML
- Interested or experienced in iOS development. Familiarity with backend APIs and cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
- Curiosity about AI development and building AI-assisted workflows
- Solid debugging and problem-solving skills with a willingness to dive into new areas
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and eagerness to grow
- Collaborative mindset and passion for building great user experiences
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling responsibilities across the stack
Nice to Have:
- Experience with healthcare, logistics, or operationally complex systems
- Experience with AI, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, or observability tools
- Personal projects, apps, or open-source contributions that demonstrate initiative and technical skill
