Role OverviewWe’re looking for a self‑motivated Full‑Stack Developer to create responsive, scalable web applications that integrate with our internal systems and third‑party insurance platforms. You’ll work closely with our product manager, UI/UX designer, and backend engineers to ship features on time and at high quality.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Node.js, etc.).
- Write clean, reusable, and well‑documented code for both front‑end and back‑end components.
- Collaborate on API design and integration with internal services and external insurance APIs.
- Implement responsive UI/UX that meets accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand‑ups.
- Troubleshoot bugs, optimize performance, and ensure security best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications-
Experience: 2 + years building production‑grade web applications (full‑stack).
- Front‑End: Strong command of React (or similar) and HTML5/CSS3; familiarity with state management (Redux, Context API).
- Back‑End: Proficiency with Node.js, Express, and RESTful API design; knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB).
- Version Control: Git (GitHub or GitLab).
- Testing: Experience with unit/integration testing (Jest, Mocha, Cypress).
- DevOps: Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Docker).
- Remote Work: Proven ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a distributed team.
Preferred (but not required)- Experience in the insurance industry or with insurance‑specific APIs.
- Familiarity with TypeScript, GraphQL, or AWS services.
