Lead and systematize the revenue motion for an AI-for-nuclear startup: build repeatable inbound/outbound pipeline, establish a sales methodology, create playbooks (pitch, discovery, objections, account plans), define roles and lightweight enablement, and set forecast, pipeline reviews, quotas, and comp. Fractional, contract engagement (~20 hrs/week) with handoff to internal team.
The summary above was generated by AI

Nuclearn brings modern AI to one of the most demanding industries in the world: nuclear power. The work that keeps a plant running safely sits under mountains of procedures, regulatory documentation, and engineering review, and most of it is still done by hand. We build AI made for the realities of nuclear operations, not adapted from generic tools, so the engineers and operators who keep plants running can spend their time where it counts. We're out to rebuild how an entire industry runs, not tinker at its edges.

This matters more now than ever. Nuclear is having its biggest moment in a generation, and we're building at the center of it. As the world turns back to nuclear for clean, reliable power, operators have to do more without growing their experienced workforce at the same pace. Our aim reaches past any one tool: we want to partner with utilities across the industry to make nuclear faster to run and safer to scale.

We're not just bringing AI to nuclear, we're challenging the idea that a safety-first industry has to be a slow one. We win as one team, we make every dollar and hour count, and we treat our customers' wins as our own.

What you'll own

  • The revenue motion. How we build pipeline across inbound and outbound, and how a lead becomes sales-qualified, made repeatable so opportunities come predictably instead of case by case.

  • A sales methodology. A shared method for how reps qualify and advance deals. We don't have one today, so this is yours to put in place.

  • The playbook. The pitch, the discovery questions, the proof points, the objection handling, account planning for multi-facility operators, and the cadence the team works to. Our founders sell this well today; you'll capture and sharpen it.

  • Clear roles and light enablement. Where each person shows up across the sales process, plus a simple way to get new sellers up to speed on all of it.

  • Forecast, pipeline, and comp. A steady review rhythm with the judgment on top of the data, and a point of view on how quotas and the commission plan should shape what sellers do.

What we're looking for

  • You've built a repeatable sales motion before, ideally more than once, and you can point to what changed because of it.

  • You've put a sales methodology in place and gotten a team to actually use it.

  • You know technical, enterprise selling with long cycles, and complexity doesn't rattle you.

  • You're a builder who documents. You leave behind systems people can run without you, not knowledge stuck in your head.

  • You're happy working fractionally and handing off. You're not looking to run a team day to day.

  • Nuclear or energy experience is a plus, not a requirement. The deep domain relationships grow with our own people; we need you for the system.

The engagement

Fractional, about 20 hours a week, remote. We are planning an initial term of one quarter with the option to extend. You'll work closely with our RevOps analyst on anything that touches systems and with our People lead on comp and roles. This is a contract engagement, with rate based on your experience.

You'll fit here if

We move with ownership and urgency, we're resourceful, and we get to excellence by iterating rather than waiting for perfect. We're candid with each other, customer wins come first, and we operate as one team. If that's how you like to work, you'll feel at home here.

Nuclear is an industry that has historically drawn from a narrow talent pool, and we think widening that aperture is part of how the industry moves forward. Nuclearn hires the best person for each role regardless of background, and we mean that as a practical commitment, not a legal line. Research shows that women, people of color, and candidates from non-traditional backgrounds are less likely to apply for roles unless they meet 100% of the qualifications. If you can do the work and the role excites you, apply — even if your path here doesn't look like the one we described. The best hires we've made often surprised us.

We don't discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
