Unlike traditional monitoring and observability tools, we demystify complex network operations, enabling organizations to deliver applications and innovation at scale. Built by network experts to make critical insight accessible to every engineer, Kentik is the real-time source of truth that understands every network in context — from data center to cloud to the internet. This single platform unifies and correlates cloud, device, flow, synthetic data to turn telemetry into action. Market leaders like Akamai, Booking.com, Dropbox, and Zoom rely on Kentik to run, manage, and optimize their networks.

What we do

Kentik is looking for a Senior Manager, FP&A to play a critical role in financial planning, strategic decision-making, and business analysis as we scale. This role will own forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling while working closely with the CFO and cross departmental leadership to drive data-driven insights and operational efficiency. You’ll have the opportunity to build and improve processes while partnering cross-functionally to help shape the future of Kentik’s growth. This role will report directly to the CFO.

What you'll do

  • Partner with key business leaders across Finance, Sales, Product, and Operations to provide data-driven insights
  • Develop and refine financial models to support strategic initiatives, growth opportunities, and investment decisions
  • Analyze financial and operational metrics, providing actionable recommendations to drive efficiency and profitability
  • Support Board and investor reporting, preparing key presentations and financial materials
  • Improve and automate FP&A processes, implementing best practices and leveraging financial systems
  • Drive strategic planning initiatives, supporting M&A, pricing strategies, market expansion analysis, etc ad hoc as these projects arise
  • Lead financial performance reviews, identifying risks and opportunities and working with stakeholders with an emphasis on improving outcomes across the organization

What you'll bringStudies have shown that some candidates tend to apply to jobs only if they meet 100% of the qualifications. We encourage you to apply if you meet most of the criteria - even if you don’t match all of the qualifications, your skills and experience could be valuable in this role!

  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, finance, or strategic planning, preferably in a high-growth SaaS or tech company
  • Preferably background at a Big 4 accounting firm or investment bank
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in financial systems, including NetSuite, and BI tools such as Tableau or Sigma
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models, key financial metrics, and revenue forecasting
  • Ability to communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders and influence decision-making
  • A strategic thinker who can balance long-term vision with execution in a fast-paced environment
  • Intellectual curiosity; you will be expected to build an understanding of the various departments of the business

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with FP&A tools such as Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or similar software
  • Experience in board and investor reporting
