JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Summary:
The FP&A Manager is responsible for providing reliable financial reporting information to Take 5 Oil Change Leadership and Finance Leadership team that is used to make decisions impacting the performance of the corporation. This role will be primarily focused on supporting the Take 5 OC business through forecasting, annual planning, monthly reporting and ad-hoc support and modeling.
This role reports to the Director of FP&A and offers a high level of visibility with the Take 5 Executive Leadership Team as well as a high level of cross-functional interaction with the Operations, Business Development and Accounting teams.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzes profit-and-loss statements, providing reports and strategic recommendations to management
- Develop forecasts, annual budget, and analyze trends across sales and other areas of business, including store level planning as necessary
- Build financial models to help operations monitor compliance and identify opportunities within the franchise system
- Collaborate with accounting during month-end close to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Conduct variance analysis on monthly and quarterly results, comparing actual performance to forecast and budgets.
- Prepare presentations for the Board of Directors and senior leadership
- Support the team in ad hoc requests and quantifying financials that results in a clear message for leadership
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Accounting or Finance, preferred)
- 5-7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably with a public company
- Self-starter with proven abilities to effectively engage and influence senior executives and cross-functional partner organizations
- Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is required and experience with ERP systems
- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities against multiple deadlines
- Able to work well with people across multiple functions
- Ability to communicate/present to senior level managers
