We’re looking to hire a Senior Analyst / Manager contractor for 3-6 months to join the team and help us shape the future of smart home.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with commercial leaders to drive business goals and make sound financial decisions for the organization.
- Engage cross functional teams to execute financial plans and drive alignment on strategic priorities.
- Model, evaluate and advise on the financial impact of partnership deals, promotional plans, pricing decisions and marketing investments.
- Maintain long range planning, forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Provide weekly and quarterly reporting and analysis on performance of the business against plan to the Senior Leadership team.
- Use own initiative and analysis to spot trends or anomalies in the business which others cannot or have not seen, drive action from these insights.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses and projects as required.
Experience and Attributes
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a finance field.
- Experience in Retail Sales facing FP&A function a plus.
- Solid business decision maker while dealing with ambiguity and motivated to reduce its impact on the business.
- Comfortable working with large quantities of data across multiple systems.
- Team player and takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Presents ideas and information in a concise, well-organized manner.
- Organized with excellent time management skills with the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines in a fast paced, highly matrixed, rapidly changing environment.
- Proficient with Excel, Tableau, Adaptive and embracing AI a plus.
The pay range for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries at commencement of employment and is expected to be between $120,000– $160,000/year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including location, role, job-related knowledge, skills, relevant education and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including bonus, equity, and a full range of benefits. Details of all benefits will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
