We’re looking for a Founding Tech Recruiter to build out our team as we embark on our next phase of growth. Someone smart — connected to the tech world — that moves, operates fast and efficiently — a superstar, a pirate. You'll operate as a strategic partner in the heart of the startup ecosystem, pioneering how we find, attract, and engage the world’s best talent.
Shape the future of tech hiring: Engage directly with the startup and tech talent community, and become a visible advocate for Pragmatike.
Zero-to-one impact: Design the recruiting systems, processes, and standards from scratch, and partner with product and engineering to refine our hiring approach.
High leverage: Recruit across a variety of functions, from engineering to go-to-market, and see your impact on the business firsthand.
Have 5+ years of experience recruiting for technical roles in-house or at a search agency
Are at ease in startup environments and thrive amid ambiguity, rapid iteration, and high growth
Communicate clearly—both written and verbally—and make every candidate feel valued
Are well-connected, respected by peers, and have a personal brand in the recruiting community (e.g., active LinkedIn, trusted network)
Care deeply about quality, processes, and candidate experience
Are excited to work flexibly—this role is fully remote and freelance-friendly
Previous experience recruiting at early-stage startups or high-growth tech companies
Familiarity with AI, SaaS, or B2B talent markets
Enjoy writing or speaking about recruiting, talent, or startup culture
Flexible freelance contract with autonomy
