 Your impact (grow it!):

As the Founding Consumer Product Analyst on the Experience team, you will be directly responsible for helping us become a more data-driven organization. You’ll help us make good product and business decisions by analyzing user behavior and market opportunities to report on the impact of product releases and inform roadmap prioritization decisions.

 

Here’s some exciting stuff you will be asked to do:

  1. Create dashboards to show conversion and retention of devices by utility program over time
  2. Quantify the impact of product releases against goals to measure how much specific changes are improving KPIs
  3. Conduct market analysis to inform product decisions, like expanding to new geographic territories, adding new devices (ex solar, battery and heat pumps) and stack-ranking initiatives based on user and business value
  4. QA our data to ensure we can trust it to make critical decisions as a startup
  5. Help plan and measure A/B tests
  6. Shape our culture to be more data-driven
 

About You

You are someone who is….

  • An expert in data analysis - from product analytics to financial modeling to writing complex SQL queries
  • Comfortable with the pace and pressure of a Series A startup - especially in analyzing product decisions to keep the company growing
  • Familiar with consumer or SMB products (product-led growth or PLG) - knows how critical conversion and retention are to growth at a B2B2C company
  • Knowledge about where we operate - you’ve either worked in or researched the home energy, utility, or money-saving spaces and understand relevant market dynamics
  • Intrigued by product management - this role could be a stepping stone to becoming a Consumer Product Manager at Optiwatt for those interested and who show potential in prioritizing and designing the right product changes to move the company forward

Optiwatt is a small startup, but don’t let that fool you. We offer competitive salaries and benefits to all employees. This role's compensation package includes a base salary of $100k - $140k (dependent on experience). Some of these amazing perks include:
