About the Job

The FlightPath team is looking for a FlightPath Enterprise Excellence Manager (FEM) to join our team. Here at Red Hat, we believe that a foundation for a successful digital company is built upon a dynamic platform that leverages open principles to accelerate ongoing and future development and aligns around customer goals. As a FlightPath Enterprise Excellence Manager you will be the subject matter expert in strategic, transformational adoption of Red Hat technology and have three major areas of responsibility: a) understand, communicate and extend Red Hat’s vision and brand of open transformation, b) provide transformational leadership to our Red Hat engineering, sales and services teams to expand modern models of team selling to identify, pursue and win strategic opportunities and c) provide executive oversight to the delivery of our transformational FlightPath engagements. In this extremely visible role, candidates will also partner with Business Development, Professional Services and Engineering Product Leaders to drive new consultative engineering initiatives across Red Hat. Mutual success will result in strategic elevation for Red Hat with clients as well as the shaping of Red Hat market strategies. This is a remote based position with future travel and can be located anywhere Globally within close proximity to an airport. Successful applicants must reside in a country where Red Hat is registered to do business.

What You Will Do

  • Create and Orchestrate executive level governance with both internal and external stakeholders

  • Collaborate with Sales, Services, Global FlightPath Office, and Leadership to define and elaborate Red Hat’s market perspective, solutions and go to market strategy to meet Red Hat and Client business objectives

  • Align, present and establish credibility for the Red Hat’s transformational messages to Client technical and executive levels to develop and close flight path opportunities

  • Responsible for collaborating with sales teams and services managers in designing and delivering the execution strategy, roadmaps, solution proposals, SOWs and value maps to execute the Red Hat transformation for the client

  • Collaborate in the continuous development of Red Hat’s FlightPath framework based on customer experiences

  • Assist and lead internal Red Hat motions to align to a client-first, agile-team sales motions

  • Drive alignment and empathy between sales and delivery to expand capabilities

  • Build, manage and report accurate pipeline metrics to deliver individual and team financial objectives

  • Interface with development managers, marketing, partners and deal architects to identify and enable transformation sales plays at scale.

  • Successful delivery of $MM strategic customer programs to drive enterprise scale change

  • Successful customer adoption of OpenShift, RHT emerging technologies and related ways of working

  • Create deep and meaningful relationships with Client executives to establish Red Hat as a trusted business partner

  • Travel in the future of up to 50% to work alongside leading financial Red Hat customers

What You Will Bring

  • 10+ Years Proven track record of client success oriented consultative selling complex solutions or transformation programs

  • Digital Transformation, DevOps, Application Modernization or similar consultative selling and service delivery experience

  • Experience as a leader of teams in delivery, sales or product development

  • Experience in enterprise value selling and presenting to C-suite level

  • Technical Bachelors but MBA preferred with proven public speaking experience

  • Deep knowledge in digital transformation efforts, Platforming, DevOps, and Red Hat portfolio and translating capability into business value including competitive objection handling

  • Ability to successfully navigate matrixed selling and delivery organizations

  • Strong desire and experience in delivering client success

The salary range for this position is $148,540.00 - $245,050.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
