YOUR MISSION

As a Financial Analyst at True Anomaly, you will report to the Senior FP&A Manager and be a key partner in designing, building and scaling the FP&A function. You will formulate processes and reporting while serving as a cross-functional partner to the business. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Partner with budget owners to perform all budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for indirect expenses 
  • Produce insights & analysis that facilitate decision making and inform the operational direction of business partners across a diverse set of functions 
  • Partner with the Engineering team to develop detailed headcount plans 
  • Partner with Technical Operations to understand enterprise software requirements and develop budgets which support a rapidly growing team with diverse needs
  • Partner with People team to track metrics such as recruiting costs per hire and develop associated indirect budgets
  • Prepare financial reporting, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership, and in support of Board materials 
  • Partner with the accounting team to understand invoices, accruals and other ledger entries posted to indirect cost centers 
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline and automate financial processes and reduce cycle times 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 2-6 years of FP&A experience in a technology or manufacturing company 
  • Strong preference to FP&A experience within government contracting/accounting 
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field 
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail 
  • Understanding or coursework in GAAP, operational, and cost accounting fundamentals 
  • Strategic thinker combining business acumen and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to effectively communicate across different organizational functions spanning individual contributors, Directors, and Executive Leadership 
  • Proficiency across Microsoft Office application suite 

COMPENSATION 

  • Base Salary: Centennial, CO: $70,000-$100,000, Long Beach, CA: $75,000-$105,000 
  • Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO, and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Work Location – We observe a hybrid work environment, and expect three days per week in office at the Company’s Denver, CO headquarters
