Position Overview:

MARA is seeking an experienced Finance Systems Administrator to lead the administration and optimization of our NetSuite ERP system, with a supporting role across additional finance technology platforms including FloQast, Cube, and Zip. The ideal candidate will be a NetSuite expert who also has a strong understanding of finance operational processes and how these systems integrate into the broader business technology ecosystem.

This individual will serve as the first line of support for Finance-owned systems and be responsible for driving stability, usability, and continuous improvement of the Finance tech stack. While systems like Salesforce and Workday are integrated into financial processes, they are owned by other teams—this role is responsible for understanding those touchpoints, not managing them directly.

MARA (NASDAQ: MARA) is a global leader in digital asset compute that develops and deploys innovative technologies to build a more sustainable and inclusive future. MARA secures the world’s preeminent blockchain ledger and supports the energy transformation by converting clean, stranded, or otherwise underutilized energy into economic value.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

System Ownership & Administration

  • Administer and maintain the NetSuite ERP environment, with a focus on Purchasing, Fixed Asset Management, and Manufacturing modules.
  • Develop, deploy, and support customizations, workflows, and scripts to enhance system functionality.
  • Monitor system performance and manage updates, patches, and troubleshooting.

Finance Systems Support & Escalation

  • Act as the primary support contact for NetSuite, FloQast, Cube, and Zip.
  • Triage issues raised by Finance, resolve directly where possible, and escalate to vendors as needed.
  • Maintain documentation of known issues, workflows, and system configurations.

System Integration & Data Flow Oversight

  • Maintain integrations between NetSuite and related systems (e.g., FloQast, Cube, Zip).
  • Ensure data flows are intact and aligned with Finance operational needs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional system owners when integrations require updates or attention.

User Enablement & Governance

  • Train and support Finance users on best practices within NetSuite and related platforms.
  • Document key workflows, changes, and support procedures.
  • Serve as a member of the Finance-Tech Steering Committee to align priorities and roadmap.

Reporting & Data Insights

  • Create and maintain dashboards, saved searches, and reports in NetSuite and adjacent systems.
  • Support ad-hoc reporting needs of the Finance team with data validation and technical configuration.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

  • 5+ years of NetSuite system administration experience, including at least one full implementation or migration.
  • Experience serving as a NetSuite Administrator at two or more organizations.
  • Strong functional expertise in NetSuite’s Purchasing, Fixed Asset Management, and Manufacturing modules.
  • Familiarity with how finance teams use FloQast, Cube, and Zip; prior support experience is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of finance-related integrations with platforms like Salesforce and Workday (hands-on experience not required).
  • Ability to create and manage NetSuite customizations, workflows, and scripts.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset in working with non-technical stakeholders.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • NetSuite certification(s) in relevant modules or administration preferred but not required.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes supported by NetSuite.
