The Job:  

As a Finance Manager, you’ll be part of our Tools & Outdoor Global Supply Chain Finance team working as an on-site employee.    You’ll get to:  

  • Drive business cadences including but not limited to month end close, Forecasting, Operating Plan and risk mitigation.
  • Perform variance analysis of accounts as needed.
  • Provide costing support for Annual Cost Update/Analysis.
  • Maintain the MAPICS general ledger (tie outs, roll overs, chart of accounts, statement formats, etc.).
  • Assist with managerial accounting in support of plant operations, including managing 1 direct report (Finance Analyst).
  • Coordinate distribution, loading and tie-out for SG&A forecast targets.
  • SG&A Budget Management and Headcount tracking.
  • Spearhead process improvements that deliver efficiency improvements & impact business results.
  • Lead a team with direct responsibility of the Annual Physical Inventory and monthly Cycle count program.
  • Completes tax documents (Ex: TN sales tax returns, annual property tax returns, etc.).
  • Reporting and Query capabilities to support sites, project teams, and general analysis.

The Person:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 4-7 years Accounting or Finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven problem solving skills, strong oral and written communicator, strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding & application of GAAP.
  • Highly proficient in Excel, knowledge of Hyperion HFM .
  • Effective verbal & written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively work across organizational boundaries, both cross functionally and with business and Finance leadership.
  • Knowledge of AS400/Mapics system; ISO and/or SOX Compliance Standards.
