🔦 Overall description

As the Finance Lead at Lumos, you will own all things number-related. You will have the opportunity to shape how we set our annual targets, define internal processes, contribute to key new business initiatives, and work closely with our leadership team and Board of Directors.

✨ Your Responsibilities

  • Investor Relations: Assist in key Investor Relations functions, such as quarterly Board Meetings reporting and preparation, fundraising, and managing banking relationships.
  • Sales Finance: Work closely with sales leadership to define and measure annualized targets, conduct analyses, support and guide large enterprise deal structuring, and provide quarterly revenue forecasts.
  • Strategic finance: Work cross-functionally to analyze long-term implications of near-term decisions that unlock new potential product and revenue opportunities (ie. new channel forecasts or SKU Pricing) or decrease expenses (ie AWS).
  • Finance Operations: Not only own and improve current workflows but also identify process opportunities (such as PO purchase, Compensation Reviews, Quota tracking, etc) and build scalable solutions that solve for today’s challenges while building for tomorrow’s.
  • Financial Planning & Forecasting: Own our LT Financial model as well as operational revenue and expense models to guide business decisions and growth. Lead annual finance planning process, forecasting and resource allocations. Conduct quarterly budget v actual reviews with business partners.
  • Accounting: Oversee all accounting operational functions including, but not limited to , managing external accounting firm, ensuring timely monthly closes, and managing internal control systems.

🙌 What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience in Finance, with a strong track record of driving impact across both strategic and operational areas.
  • 4+ years working in B2B SaaS, ideally in fast-paced startup environments where you’ve helped build from the ground up.
  • Experience owning Sales Finance end-to-end — from setting targets and shaping pricing strategy to partnering with GTM leaders on deal desk support and revenue forecasting.
  • Comfortable preparing materials and presenting to executive teams and investors — especially in the context of quarterly board meetings.
  • FP&A experience is a plus, but not required — we care more about your ability to think across the business and drive decisions with data.
  • You’re energized by ambiguity, love building the plane while flying it, and thrive in environments where systems are still being scaled.

💰Pay Range

$185,000 - $250,000. Note that this range is a good faith estimate of likely pay for this role; upon hire, the pay may differ due to skill and/or level of experience.
