Join a dynamic team to drive data sourcing and infrastructure changes for Finance & Risk, enhancing business and tech goals.
As a Finance & Business Architecture Project / Program Manager Vice President within the Firmwide Finance Business Architecture team, you will be responsible for promoting data sourcing and infrastructure changes for Finance & Risk, enhancing business and tech goals. You will have the opportunity to lead large-scale data, infrastructure, accounting standard and business process change management events and the Chief Data Office for Finance and TCIO. You will also be involved in overseeing the Data Acquisition framework for strategic and legacy Finance, TCIO, and Wholesale Credit Risk platforms. This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to senior governance forum meetings and collaborate with other Project Managers in the organization.
The Project book of work includes change initiatives relating to Finance, Data, Risk, and Controls, where scope is cross-consumer or cross-asset class and there are significant interdependencies between Business and Technology teams (examples include delivering on regulatory mandated reporting changes or moving fit for purpose data to the public cloud for key functional groups' consumption)
Job responsibilities:
  • Support Program Management Lead in their larger book of work oversight while owning day to day management of projects and identifying opportunities to improve processes for efficiency and best practices
  • Partner with Business and Technology to plan major milestones with understanding of stakeholder needs
  • Identify risks and issues to be escalated and partner with workstream Leads to assess options for resolution
  • Continuously review value proposition and validate pain points to track to measures of success
  • Oversee status reporting to own executive summaries and/or coordinate scorecard updates and create artifacts to simply complex aspects of the project to assist with "story telling"
  • Contribute to senior governance forum meetings by preparing agenda and materials and presenting updates
  • Collaborate with other Project Managers, or workstream Leads, in the organization to promote information exchange and contribute to larger initiatives

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated through interactions with different levels of seniority
  • Substantial experience in change management with proven success executing on multiple projects / initiatives at once
  • Team player with ability to work autonomously and deliver high quality work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a positive and professional attitude
  • Strong core finance technical skills and a solid understanding of finance processes, infrastructure, and systems
  • Ability to support a cross-functional project team with varied disciplines and stakeholders with competing priorities
  • Experience with project or program management best practices, including organizational skills and time management
  • Ability to assimilate in an organization and proactively form working relationships with key stakeholders across groups

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Markets product knowledge or business acumen (examples include familiarity with different types of external reporting or exposure to derivatives and securities)
  • Experience creating executive summaries and aggregating presentations with agendas and materials
  • PitchPro+ (Microsoft PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams is a plus
