Responsibilities:

  • Support internal control assessments, audit activities, and process documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Analyze and test existing control processes and procedures, updating documentation as needed to improve effectiveness.

  • Assist with audits of control effectiveness and evaluate progress made to address identified control deficiencies and risks.

  • Collaborate with the Finance and Accounting team on process improvement initiatives, project support, and documentation efforts.

  • Identify and support automation opportunities while providing input for future internal control assessments and risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.

  • Preferred candidate is a rising junior or senior who has completed core coursework in their major.

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.

  • Experience with Power BI preferred.

  • Exposure to process automation, data analytics, or other business intelligence and automation tools is a plus.
