About the role:

The Field Marketing Specialist will be responsible for supporting and executing Field Marketing events and programs for both prospects and customers to support business growth.  This role will support the creation and execution of customer and prospect programs geared toward executive decision-makers and curated executive-level field marketing events with a focus on pipeline generation. The role will support tactical items for the Field Marketing Managers to align with the Regional Sales Leadership, Regional Sales teams, as well as Marketing leadership. The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate and execute while maintaining a metric-driven success criteria and approach.

As a Field Marketing Specialist at Starburst you will

  • Support the planning and execution of field marketing programs and events that align with Starburst’s broader marketing and sales objectives, ensuring flawless logistics, strong cross-team collaboration, and impactful experiences that help generate pipeline and strengthen customer relationships
  • Support Field Marketing Programs in planning and execution of high-impact events that engage executive-level decision-makers, fostering deeper connections with prospects and customers.
  • Collaborate closely with the SDR team to create targeted follow-up plans, leveraging relevant content to maximize post-event engagement.
  • Manage event logistics such as venue coordination, vendor management, shipping of materials, promotional items, and on-site support.
  • Coordinate the creation of event collateral, signage, and branded materials in partnership with the creative team.
  • Maintain inventory of promotional materials and ensure brand consistency across all field marketing initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support to the field marketing team as needed.
  • Generate marketing-influenced pipeline and MQLs through impactful onsite activations and strong collaboration with the sales team.

Some of the things we look for:

  • 2+ years of marketing experience, with a strong track record in driving successful campaigns and events or a similar role (B2B or tech industry experience a plus).
  • Highly detail-oriented and creative, thriving in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills, ensuring seamless execution and measurement of marketing initiatives.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and project management tools a plus.
  • Passionate about creative thinking and experiential event planning, with a focus on delivering memorable, measurable, and impactful experiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel for field events.
  • Ability to Travel: This role will require occasional in-person travel for purposes including but not limited to new hire onboarding, team and department offsites, customer engagements, and other company events. Actual travel expectations may vary by role and business needs.

The salary range provided for this role reflects the minimum and maximum targets for candidates across all U.S. locations and could be inclusive of variable compensation, such as commission or bonus. All employees receive equity packages (ISOs) and have access to a comprehensive benefits offering. Actual compensation packages are determined based on relevant skills, experience, education and training, and specific work location.
