Your core responsibility is to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of field marketing initiatives that bring Dropbox to life in the real world across key verticals, buyer segments, and regional markets. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that blends strategic planning with creative execution and demands strong alignment with sales and campaign teams. You’ll get substantial senior leadership exposure and the opportunity to scale programs that directly influence growth.

Responsibilities

  • Build an annual and quarterly calendar of marquee events aligned to strategic business priorities and sales pipeline goals.
  • Own all aspects of event logistics including venue sourcing, vendor management, budget allocation, contract negotiations, and onsite execution.
  • Collaborate with campaign strategy, product marketing, and content teams to ensure messaging consistency and to tailor experiences that resonate with key personas.
  • Develop pre-event and post-event engagement strategies that drive attendance, deepen relationships, and convert leads into opportunities.
  • Track program effectiveness, reporting on KPIs such as sourced pipeline, lead engagement, and conversion, and use data to refine future strategy.
  • Manage third-party relationships, including partners and industry organizations, to amplify reach and increase brand presence.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of B2B marketing experience in SaaS or technology industries, with 2+ years focused on large-scale field marketing or event marketing.
  • Proven success in planning and executing multi-touch, in-person event programs that drive demand and business impact.
  • Experience partnering with sales and GTM teams to align marketing execution with pipeline needs.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple complex programs simultaneously and deliver under tight timelines.
  • Deep understanding of the B2B marketing funnel, demand gen best practices, and post-event lead conversion strategies.
  • Proficient in using marketing automation platforms, CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), and event management tools to track performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in marketing SaaS productivity or related categories, with a strong understanding of sales-assisted and product-led growth models
  • Experience in building and scaling virtual marketing programs from the ground up
  • Experience or in partnering with third-party vendors and analysts to expand reach to new audiences
