Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies
- Participate as a leader and member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the integration of technical solutions
- Lead and assist with the implement of manufacturing plans
- Assist in the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build
- Resolve technical problems and assist in the implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts
- Leads and assists in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies
- Work with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 5+ years of experience related to product development (configuration management, design, integration, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience researching and implementing new technologies and innovative practices in manufacturing processes, with a focus on enhancing efficiency and quality in aerospace production
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience performing work per written documentation/authorities and knowledge of how release authority works
- 5+ years of experience in a Manufacturing environment, specifically loadable software and or equipment
- 5+ years of experience working with multi-functional teams/organizations
- 3+ years of experience with data analysis and / or process improvements
- Experience with the following software PDM, CAPP, REDARS-EID, IVT, WIRS, EWITS, BWS-CM, CDS, EWIRE, E-PLAN, VELOCITY, ENOVIA, EWIRE, WIRS, Equipment Manager
