Deliver a consistent and effective onboarding experience for each Experienced Advisor Recruit (EAR) onsite in the advisor's office through facilitating onboarding processes and systems, implementing efficient workflows, coaching and training EARs and staff, and consulting as the Ameriprise transition expert. Play a lead role on key projects and initiatives and take on the onsite transition consultant role for complex practices and to meet demand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead role in the establishment of a well-organized workflow, to include but not limited to, Install and manage the asset transfer process, establish well defined roles and responsibilities, provide EAR/staff with clear understanding of the asset transfer process and ensure transparency into the status of client/account establishment and asset transfer status.
  • Provide critical guidance and support in transitioning the assets by providing EAR with understanding Ameriprise culture, business policies and procedures based on the advisor’s book of business, prioritization and mitigation of issues/concerns and providing clear understanding of TransitionTrack, Status Manager and our onboarding process.
  • Provide essential training and key resources as needed to provide advisor with foundational knowledge of the key tools and systems, in-depth knowledge of the asset transfer process, rules and policies of ownerships and requirements based on ownerships.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of client/account set up and provide EARs with key product solutions teams and establish additional trainings based on the EAR.
  • Strong internal partnerships established to provide our internal and external partners with daily status on the health of the onboard, with clear and timely communication within the team for issues/concerns/roadblocks as well as work across departments to ensure EAR has additional resources based on the need of the onboard.
  • Identify and drive innovation and improvement within EAR Onboarding and across the organization and lead and participate in project work to enhance the EAR Onboarding Experience.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the EAR Onboarding and Acquisition department by serving as a resource/coach/mentor to less-experienced team members and assisting with tasks and duties of other roles within the department to help support high volumes and capacity challenges.

 
Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent (4-years).
  • Experience: 5-7 years of relevant financial services experience.
  • *Post-secondary education and relevant work experience may be interchanged to meet the combined total years of minimum required qualifications for education and experience.
  • Willingness to travel 75% of the time.

 
Preferred Qualifications

  • Broad knowledge of Ameriprise products, policies and systems, EAR Onboarding processes and financial services products and firms.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to partner with and influence EAR advisors, field leaders, and support staff.
  • Comfortable working in a flexible, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong professional presence and emotional competence; ability to deal with stressful situations and emotional EARs and field leaders.

Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $74,800 - $101,000 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role. We also have a competitive and comprehensive benefits program that supports all aspects of your health and well-being, including but not limited to vacation time, sick time, 401(k), and health, dental and life insurances.
