Position Overview
Actian is seeking an Executive Intelligence & AI Strategy Intern to revolutionize how our teams engage with our most
important customers. This is a high-impact role sitting at the intersection of Data Analytics, Executive Communication,
and AI Technology. You will dive deep into our CRMs to build an intelligent framework that maps account health to
executive relationships, ensuring every Actian interaction is highly personalized, data-driven, and timed perfectly for
maximum impact.

Capstone Overview
This capstone project focuses on building a centralized, AI-powered intelligence hub that transforms raw account
data from our CRMs into strategic executive insights. The intern will develop an automated system for creating hyper-
personalized executive dossiers that equip Actian’s leadership team for high-stakes customer engagement. By
mapping current relationship health against external market trends, the intern will provide a predictive framework for
both retention-focused engagement and net-new relationship expansion. The final project will deliver a repeatable
engagement playbook and an AI-driven account heatmap that identifies critical gaps and opportunities in our global
executive network.

1. Baseline vs. Improved Personalization: A comparison of current executive prep time versus AI-accelerated
synthesis.
2. Engagement Predictive Accuracy: Evaluation of how AI-triggered alerts correlate with successful executive
meetings.
3. Strategic Roadmap: Recommendations for scaling AI-driven relationship mapping across the entire sales
and marketing organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect the Executive Dossier Engine: Build an automated workflow using AI to synthesize internal
CRM/CS data with external market signals to produce hyper-personalized briefing materials for leaders.
  • Map the Relationship Heatmap: Use data to visualize executive engagement across key accounts, identifying blind spots where relationship depth is lacking.
  • Predictive Outreach Strategy: Develop and AI-driven early warning system that alerts teams to prioritize outreach based on predicted health milestones or competitive threats.
  • Net-New Relationship Modeling: Research and implement AI tools to identify high-value lookalike executive
prospects, creating a data-backed strategy for net-new relationship building.
  • Test Engagement Hypothesis: Pilot different AI-generated outreach styles to determine which personalized insights drive the highest executive response rates.

Nice to haves:

  • CRM & CS Platform Literacy: Experience with Salesforce and/or ChurnZero (or similar CS tools like
    Gainsight).
  • Advanced Prompt Engineering: Ability to build complex, multi-step prompts to synthesize disparate data
    sources into cohesive narratives.
  • Market Research Skills: Proficiency in using AI to extract strategic insights from annual reports, press
    releases, and executive social profiles.
  • Data Visualization: Experience creating executive-level dashboards in Tableau or Salesforce CRM.
  • Business Acumen: An interest in C-level corporate strategy and how executive relationships drive long-term
    business value.

Requirements:

  • Must be actively enrolled in a college degree program to be eligible.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the Country of Employment
  • Must be located in the United States during the internship period.
