About this role:

 

Wells Fargo is hiring an Executive Insights Business Lead to support our Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology (CCIBT) team.  This person will Provide Executive Reporting support for the organization responsible for delivering technologies to three major lines of business including Commercial Banking, Corporate and Investment Banking, and Global Payments & Liquidity.  An ideal candidate will have an expertise in Powerpoint and Excel and an ability to translate data into concise, compelling PowerPoint presentations tailored for executive audiences.

 

 

In this role, you will:

  • Analyze large and often ambiguous datasets to uncover trends, insights, and opportunities.
  • Design and manage advanced Excel models, tools, and dashboards to support ongoing analysis.
  • Pull data from multiple sources and consolidate into a single story that delivers clear results and empowers executive decision making.
  • Develop automated workflows (using tools like Power Automate) to streamline data reporting processes.
  • Maintain version-controlled documentation that require inputs from multiple sources and aligns to corporate brand strategy.
  • Edit and refine technical verbiage into succinct, business-appropriate language suitable for senior leadership and nontechnical audiences.
  • Apply a consultative approach to understanding business problems and shaping the narrative around key metrics and insights.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership and stakeholders to ensure data stories align with strategic goals.
  • Support executive meetings, strategy sessions, and upstream executive forums with well-crafted reporting materials.
  • Leverage tools like PowerBI, Power Automate, and SharePoint to enhance reporting efficiency and data access.
     

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 5+ Years of experience in data analysis, business reporting, or consulting roles
  • 5+ years of experience with Excel and Powerpoint

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts, data modeling)
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills, with a strong eye for design, structure, and executive story telling
  • Proven ability to distill complex data into actionable, high-impact insights
  • Must be able to work with urgency and efficiency in a fast-paced, high-demand environment without sacrificing quality or accuracy
  • Strong consultative and communication skills, able to ask the right questions and frame insights around business value
  • Familiarity with PowerBI, Power Automate, and SharePoint is preferred
  • Familiarity with supported lines of business including Commercial Banking, Corporate and Investment Banking, and Global Payments & Liquidity is preferred
  • Experience working with or supporting senior leadership or executive teams
  • Highly organized and self-directed, with strong attention to detail and comfortable managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
