General Description:

The Executive Director of Advanced Analytics & Data Science is a senior leadership role at the forefront of BeOne’s ambition to turn data, analytics, and AI into a competitive advantage. This leader will shape and accelerate the company’s vision for advanced analytics and ML/AI application, driving strategic priorities and operational excellence across the global commercial organization.

As a trusted strategic partner to the business, you will define and execute a world‑class global commercial analytics strategy, fuel cross‑functional collaboration, and champion bold innovation. You will lead and inspire a high‑performing team of analytics and data science experts to deliver scalable, high‑impact solutions—spanning advanced analytics, machine learning and AI, predictive modeling, marketing mix optimization, digital and channel analytics, and decision engines / next best action—to inform strategy and power execution. Success in this role requires deep technical expertise, a relentless passion for data‑driven problem solving, and a proven track record of building and developing exceptional teams.

The key responsibilities include:

Strategic Analytics Leadership

  • Define and lead a compelling vision for advanced analytics, data science, and AI—directly shaping BeOne’s strategic direction and commercial success.

  • Build, inspire, and scale a high‑performing analytics organization that delivers insights leaders rely on to drive decisions across market access, marketing, and business operations.

  • Champion a culture of innovation, accountability, and data‑driven decision‑making, where analytics is embedded in how the business thinks and acts.

Data‑Driven Insights

  • Design and deploy sophisticated analytics frameworks—including segmentation, predictive modeling, promotional response, risk assessment, and patient journey analytics—to unlock growth and improve outcomes.

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to commercial leadership, influencing planning, market opportunity assessments, and product strategy with rigorous, insight‑led thinking.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with leaders across marketing, market access/HEOR, clinical, regulatory, finance, and sales to solve the company’s most complex and high‑impact business challenges.

  • Collaborate with medical affairs and clinical trial teams to enhance program effectiveness, optimize resource allocation, and extend the value of analytics across the enterprise.

Innovative Technologies & Methodologies

  • Lead the adoption and scaling of machine learning, AI, and GenAI analytical solutions to drive step‑change improvements in efficiency, effectiveness, and insight generation.

  • Stay at the forefront of innovation in oncology, life sciences, and analytics—ensuring BeOne continues to differentiate and lead in a rapidly evolving landscape.

Thought Leadership

  • Build strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and key opinion leaders to accelerate innovation and expand BeOne’s analytics ecosystem.

Team Development & Organizational Impact

  • Recruit, mentor, and retain top analytics and data science talent, creating a high‑performance culture where people grow and thrive.

  • Define clear goals, KPIs, and value metrics to demonstrate the tangible business impact of analytics and AI initiatives.

  • Ensure analytics practices consistently meet the highest standards of ethics, compliance, and data integrity.

Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in commercial analytics, including 5+ years leading data science and AI/ML initiatives within healthcare or life sciences

  • Proven experience working with oncology and/or rare disease datasets strongly preferred

  • 7+ years of leadership experience building, scaling, and leading high‑performing analytics teams in biotech or pharmaceutical environments

  • Deep, hands‑on expertise in data science, machine learning, statistical modeling

  • Demonstrated experience implementing and scaling generative and agentic AI analytical solutions in real‑world business settings

  • Strong business acumen with a track record of translating advanced analytics into strategic and operational impact

  • Experience partnering effectively with business stakeholders across clinical, medical affairs, regulatory, and enterprise functions.

  • Exceptional leadership capabilities, with a passion for coaching, developing, and inspiring talent (direct and indirect)

  • Excellent communication and influence skills, with the ability to drive change, align stakeholders, and articulate a compelling analytics and data science vision.

  • All years of work experience may be gained concurrently.

Salary Range: $269,600.00 - $349,600.00 annually

BeOne is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation packages are determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Packages may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor. The recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for a preferred location during the hiring process.  Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan. All Company employees have the opportunity to own shares of BeOne Medicines Ltd. stock because all employees are eligible for discretionary equity awards and to voluntarily participate in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
