The Team You Will Join
As part of Internal Audit at MetLife, you'll play a critical role protecting MetLife and its stakeholders by delivering both independent, risk-based, and objective assurance through audit execution and providing advice and insights through strategic advisory engagements. Collaborating across the company, you'll use your strategic problem-solving skills, consulting expertise, and ethical standards to support the company's growth strategy. Join us at the forefront of the evolving risk landscape to proactively address business imperatives and mitigate emerging risks by developing talent, leveraging new technology, and fostering an innovative culture.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide administrative and operational support within Global Internal Audit. This is a high-visibility role for a proactive, highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, exercises sound judgment, and can manage competing priorities on behalf of senior leadership.
You will serve as a trusted partner to support the senior audit leaders and to their broader teams - helping ensure their time, communications, and priorities are managed with precision, professionalism, and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage complex executive calendars for senior audit leaders, proactively scheduling meetings, resolving conflicts, and balancing competing priorities.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, prepare detailed itineraries, and manage expense reporting and administrative transactions.
  • Develop, edit, and format presentations, reports, correspondence, and leadership materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organize team meetings, offsites, onboarding activities, and department resources while partnering with Executive Assistants and business partners to ensure seamless operations.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion, proactively anticipating needs and resolving issues before they arise.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience supporting senior executives (VP level or above) in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and shifting business needs simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage professionally with senior leaders, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and independent judgment when handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, M365 Copilot, Teams, WebEx), with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting multiple senior leaders simultaneously, preferably within Internal Audit, Risk, Compliance, or another corporate control function.
  • Proven experience managing travel arrangements, expense reporting, and related administrative processes.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
The expected salary range for this position is $62,300 - $83,100 . This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
Benefits We Offer
