NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) is seeking a highly capable and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President for Finance & Administration (CFO/SVP-FA).Under limited supervision, the Executive Assistant performs a broad range of advanced administrative, fiscal, and project coordination functions in support of the CFO/SVP-FA. The Executive Assistant must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and can manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines with a high degree of accuracy. The Executive Assistant serves as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, exercises exceptional judgment, integrity, professionalism, and organizational effectiveness, and can manage highly sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion. This role requires superior organizational, communication, and multitasking skills to interact effectively with students, faculty, staff, trustees, donors, and vendors. Essential Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CFO/SVP-FA

  • Manage a complex executive calendar, including scheduling, prioritization of commitments, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and related logistics

  • Draft, review, and coordinate correspondence, reports, presentations, briefing materials, and other executive communications

  • Monitor and coordinate the flow of information, ensuring timely responses and follow-through on priorities and commitments

  • Coordinate and support strategic initiatives, special projects, and cross-functional efforts on behalf of the CFO/SVP-F

  • Track projects, action items, and deadlines to ensure timely completion and effective execution

  • Conduct research, compile information, and prepare materials to support decision- making and executive planning

  • Support office operations through records management, purchasing activities, budget tracking, and administrative processes

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for the Office of the CFO/SVP-FA

  • Foster effective working relationships with students, faculty, staff, vendors, community partners, and other stakeholders

  • Coordinate communications and activities between the Office of the CFO/SVP-FA, the Office of the President, and senior leadership

  • Coordinate executive-level meetings and events, including scheduling, logistics, preparation of meeting materials, and follow-up activities

  • Record meeting minutes and monitor follow-up actions as assigned

  • Provide administrative support for Board of Trustees and committee activities as needed

  • Additional duties may be assigned as necessary to support the goals and objectives of the department and college

Rate of Pay: $19.76 hourly *Higher compensation may be considered based on qualifications directly related to position

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The formal education of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education

  • At least two (2) years of administrative support experience, with demonstrated experience managing confidential information and competing priorities with professionalism and discretion

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible executive administrative support experience

  • Experience supporting senior-level leaders in a complex organizational environment

  • Experience in higher education

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive information

  • Exceptional organizational, planning, and time-management skills

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to anticipate needs, identify issues, and implement effective solutions

  • Ability to independently prioritize work and manage multiple competing priorities with accuracy and attention to detail

  • Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor

  • Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships and work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Workday, ServiceNow, and other technologies and the ability to quickly learn and utilize new systems and software applications

  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment
