What you’ll do

  • Design, build, and support mission‑critical FIX Drop Copy and STP workflows that underpin the firm’s electronic trading and post‑trade processing
  • Collaborate closely with investment professionals, Compliance, and Operations to translate business and control requirements into robust, production‑ready software
  • Develop and maintain Java and SQL Server–based applications supporting complex trading workflows across rates, FX, credit, futures, and equities
  • Integrate with external brokers, exchanges, and trading platforms, ensuring reliable connectivity and correct handling of external data
  • Improve system reliability, observability, and operational resilience through thoughtful design and disciplined change
  • Provide Level 3 production support, investigating issues, answering business questions, and resolving complex problems escalated from a dedicated support function
  • Use AI‑enabled development and operational tooling to improve engineering efficiency and contribute to platforms where AI is increasingly embedded in business workflows

What’s REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of Java and SQL Server development experience
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server objects and optimizations, such as functions, views, indexes, procs, tables, CTEs, and transactions.
  • Proficiency with Jetbrains Intellij
  • Familiarity with version control systems and build environments, such as Git, Jenkins, and GitHub
  • Financial industry experience, specifically Fixed Income products, such as bonds, swaps, CDS, and FX, or Commodity Futures
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards

The annual base salary range for this role is $250,000-$300,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
