We’re seeking a Senior Backend Web Developer to join our EverPro team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications while driving high-quality code and best practices. As a Scrum Master, you'll lead Agile development processes and ensure efficient team delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Backend Development: Build and maintain server-side logic, APIs, and databases using technologies like Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails, Java, etc.
  • Performance Optimization: Enhance site performance through caching, query optimization, and database indexing.
  • API Development & Integration: Design and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration with third-party tools.
  • Site Maintenance: Monitor application health, resolve issues, and deploy regular updates.
  • Technical Leadership: Act as a Scrum Master, lead Agile ceremonies, and promote best development practices.
  • WordPress Development: Support website builds, migrations, and feature deployments using WordPress and WP Engine.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of backend web development experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
  • Proficiency in Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails, Java, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of API development, database management, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, with Scrum Master certification preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with WordPress development and server migrations.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices.
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of microservices and serverless architecture.
  • Understanding of front-end technologies (React, Angular, Vue.js).

Compensation: The target compensation for this position is $100-$110K in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above
