We are looking for a Sales Manager to focus on our MarketSharp and improveit360 solutions.

We are seeking a seasoned sales manager to lead a sales team responsible for driving revenue for our portfolio of home improvement-centric software and services solutions of improveit 360 and MarketSharp.  Reporting to the Director of Sales, this leadership role owns the new sales revenue target for the leading CRM home remodeling technology enterprise. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a scalable sales strategy and process to lead the sales team to predictably achieve sales objectives, revenue growth and financial goals
  • Works jointly with the SVP of Growth to build, develop and execute on sales growth targets, strategies, and tactics
  • Collaborates with EverCommerce Growth Engagement team (in conjunction with the SVP -Growth), to cultivate top of funnel, drive lead strategy and research new ICP verticals to fuel sales cycle.
  • Grow and develop an industry-leading sales team
  • Collaborate effectively with client success teams to build depth of relationship and reduced churn
  • Maintain and utilize deep remodeling software industry knowledge to drive informed decisions toward profitable growth
  • Identify, evaluate, and plan for opportunities and challenges
  • Create a culture of predictable, consistent, and reliable execution by establishing and executing team OKRs

Leadership/Strategy

  • Cultivate and develop a winning culture through transparent performance expectations
  • Liaison effectively with product and technology to help prioritize the product roadmap based on opportunities in the market for increased growth velocity
  • Collaborate with Director of Sales to recommend strategies and initiatives to grow revenue, and manage the execution and results

Sales Productivity and Effectiveness

  • Drive sales negotiations, craft sales positioning and presentation, assist with proposals and demos, and help drive the pipeline for high-profile “strategic” accounts
  • Create, improve upon and audit sales processes and support resources (e.g., tip cards, talk tracks, FAQs) through formal training programs and management coaching
  • Collaborates with the Director of Business Development on potential industry partners to drive net new leads and co-marketing opportunities
  • Develop key performance indicators of future success and work with operations team to make these metrics visible to drive accountability

Recruiting and Retention

  • Build and maintain a best-in-class sales team by recruiting, leading, and inspiring the right talent
  • Design compensation and incentive programs that engage and motivate the sales team while driving continual improvements in productivity

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

  • 5+ years demonstrated success in sales leadership roles for B2B SaaS enterprises; experience selling to home improvement professionals is preferred
  • Highly developed leadership skills with exceptional EQ, adept at building, leading, and inspiring high-performance teams
  • Proven success exceeding team sales quotas
  • Ability to build vision, understand and define requirements, design practical solutions, develop supporting business cases and implement solutions for clients
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, including an understanding of best practices for CRM management to grow a geographically dispersed sales team and track performance by defining, monitoring and evolving a dashboard/KPI strategy
  • Intellectually disciplined with the ability to make quick, data-driven decisions
  • Self-confidence matched with a willingness to collaborate and successfully engage with colleagues

Where: Remote, US with travel to sales training events, trade shows, and leadership onsite.
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: The target OTE compensation for this position is $146,000 – $176,000 per year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above
