We are looking for a Payment Sales Representative to focus on our payments product line powered by PaySimple. PaySimple is the leading provider of payment management solutions for over 20,000 SMBs. Our APIs and SaaS products provide payment acceptance, billing automation, client management, ecommerce, mobile, and point-of-sale solutions tailored to the needs of service-based businesses.

 

In this role, you will be working with our EverCommerce brands and third party partner merchants to close sales and cross-sell opportunities and help prospects through the buyer journey. You will be required to bring your curiosity, your ability to adapt to changing situations, and a desire to find the best way to get deals done. You will be managing a pipeline of inbound and referral leads from discovery to close with high conversion rate expectations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, initiate, and nurture relationships with leads both over the phone and via email
  • Run the entire sales cycle, discovery, presentation, proposal, price negotiation, close, underwriting and successful handoff to Customer Success
  • Own and manage a sizeable pipeline of payments-attached integrated partner and Subsidiary cross-sell leads
  • Meet and exceed known input metrics, efficiency metrics and output metrics
  • Perform a variety of product demos, including within potentially unknown partner software
  • Hunt and aggressively prospect new business from partner lead lists/customer accounts
  • Partner with sales leaders to enhance the current product offering and further develop the sales and onboarding process for new and existing partner/subsidiary customers
  • Deliver weekly pipeline reviews and forecasts
  • Deliver upon sales targets, including gross customer adds, conversion rates and margin expectations

 

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

  • 1-3 years of experience in payments software, SaaS, or service industry sales
  • History of over-achievement
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, potentially unknown and rapidly changing environment
  • Good sales DNA and ability to match the selling pace of your buyer
  • Excellent phone presence and strong writing skills
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Salesforce, sales engagement software, pipeline management, MS Office experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equal relevant experience

 

Where: Hybrid, Denver/Remote U.S.
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based in Denver, CO or Remote within the U.S. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position.

Compensation: EverCommerce is committed to equal pay and transparency. The target earnings compensation (base + commissions) for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 USD per year in most US locations. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. EverCommerce considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, candidate’s work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
