About the Role

We’re looking for a Marketing Automation Manager to join the EverPro Lifecycle Marketing team, supporting two fast-growing mobile invoicing products: Joist and Invoice Simple.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, building, and operating scalable lifecycle journeys that support customer engagement, feature adoption, retention, and revenue growth. You’ll translate lifecycle campaign direction into high-quality execution across email, push notifications, and in-app messaging—ensuring journeys are reliable, maintainable, and effective.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning execution and systems, takes pride in quality and operational excellence, and wants to deepen their expertise in marketing automation within a Product-Led Growth (PLG) environment.

What You’ll Do

Journey Architecture & Automation

  • Design and implement automated lifecycle journeys aligned to onboarding, activation, adoption, retention, and win-back use cases
  • Translate campaign briefs and experience direction into:
    • Channel sequencing and coordination (email, push, in-app)
    • Entry and exit criteria
    • Trigger logic, suppression rules, and timing
  • Ensure journeys are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with platform and data constraints

Campaign Execution & Delivery

  • Build and launch lifecycle campaigns in Braze with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Implement segmentation, personalization, and dynamic content
  • QA all campaigns to ensure correctness, compliance, and on-time delivery
  • Support localization builds when needed

Quality, Risk & Reliability

  • Own execution quality and delivery standards across lifecycle programs
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data issues, broken journeys, and delivery failures
  • Proactively identify executional risks that could impact customer experience or business outcomes
  • Escalate risks early and recommend mitigation approaches

Experimentation & Optimization Support

  • Execute A/B tests and experiments accurately and consistently
  • Ensure test setups align with defined hypotheses and success criteria
  • Validate data integrity and flag anomalies or execution-level insights
  • Support iteration by ensuring experiments are clean, repeatable, and scalable

System Leverage & Continuous Improvement

  • Build reusable journey patterns, templates, and documentation
  • Reduce manual work and rework through better system design
  • Improve lifecycle execution efficiency and scalability over time
  • Contribute to shared standards and best practices within the lifecycle team

Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Lifecycle Marketing Managers, copywriters, designers, and analysts
  • Provide feasibility guidance and executional recommendations during planning
  • Act as a trusted automation partner, balancing speed, quality, and scalability

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 4–6+ years of experience in marketing automation, lifecycle marketing, or CRM-related roles
  • Hands-on experience building and managing campaigns in Braze (or similar platforms such as Marketo, HubSpot, Iterable, or Customer.io)
  • Strong understanding of segmentation, triggers, personalization, and automated journeys
  • Experience supporting experimentation (A/B testing) and performance optimization
  • High attention to detail with a strong QA mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have / Bonus Experience

  • Experience working in a Product-Led Growth (PLG) or B2B SaaS environment
  • Exposure to lifecycle eventing, attributes, or customer data models
  • Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, or Data teams on lifecycle-related use cases
  • Experience contributing to platform standards such as frequency capping, suppression logic, or journey governance
  • Interest in system design, automation scalability, or lifecycle infrastructure stewardship

Why Join EverPro Lifecycle Marketing

  • Work on high-impact lifecycle programs that support real customer and revenue outcomes
  • Own meaningful automation and journey design—not just “build tickets”
  • Grow your technical and system design skills in Braze
  • Collaborate with thoughtful marketers, product teams, and data partners
  • Clear growth paths into senior automation or lifecycle system roles

Benefits and Perks:

  • Flexibility to work where/how you want within your country of employment – in-office, remote, or hybrid

  • Continued investment in your professional development

  • Day 1 robust health and wellness benefits, including an annual wellness stipend

  • 401k with up to a 4% match and immediate vesting

  • Flexible and generous (FTO) time-off

  • Employee Stock Purchase Program

Compensation: The target compensation for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 per year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
