We are looking for a Business Systems Engineer to focus on our EverHealth division. EverHealth consists of SaaS products; DrChrono, EMHware, Good Therapy, AllMeds, iSalus, CollaborateMD, Updox, Therapy Partner and MDTech. EverHealth provides modern end-to-end solutions for healthcare providers. Our open, connected ecosystem of solutions and services helps providers engage patients, increase revenue, improve business efficiency, and remain market competitive. We serve 72,000 healthcare practices and counting. 

We are looking for a Sr Business Systems Analyst to support the EverCommerce Business Operations team and focus on implementing and maintaining Salesforce CRM, CRM app ecosystem, CPQ, and other commercial, operational, and data applications across the EverCommerce portfolio. Business Operations is the subject matter on business systems and cross-functional processes and provides both regular support and maintenance and strategic architecture and guidance to help our solutions teams operate efficiently and produce customer value 

 

As a Business Systems Engineer, you will consult on, architect, build, and manage systems and processes throughout lead to quote, CPQ, QTR, and Services Delivery processes using your front and backend coding skills and related experience working in and around Salesforce, Hubspot, Zuora, and related commercial and billing applications. You are fluent in Python, Typescript, Golang, Ruby, C++, or other modern languages and comfortable writing SQL and working in and around databases and other backend applicationsYou have experience working in and around web applications and understand the fundamentals of HTTP, APIs, Oauth, and other core technologiesYou have worked with and helped build and maintain CI/CD pipelines as part of your past experience, a strong plus if it was for platform applications like Salesforce et al.  Experience with Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ or similar CPQ (like Zuora CPQ) and other automation tools (Flows, Price Rules, Product Rules) and the Salesforce data model is a strong plus. Another strong plus is familiarity with the salesforce app ecosystem and have architected and developed operational solutions in this ecosystem with tools like Conga, Chilipiper, SF Sales Engagement, Groove, Gong, Zoominfo, etc. This fluency enables you to design and build solutions, customizations, quote templates, and workflows to meet the needs of our solutions teams now and in the future. You are also familiar with operational solutions working in conjunction with data warehouse and BI tools and are fluent in understanding, developing, and managing data architectures, data flows, and managing data structures and processes. 

 

 Responsibilities:  

  • Develop and support commercial applications by building and managing CI/CD pipelines and supporting git repositories, and be able to create and conduct basic training to ramp up other team members in using these tools 

  • Create and maintain helper applications and scripts in Python, SQL, or similar languages when appropriate to solve critical business problems 

  • Create automated test workflows to support the CI/CD toolchain using AccelQ or similar technology, and modernize it by introducing helper code to support the business systems team in building and maintaining regression tests 

  • Lead SIT and user acceptance testing for major development categories, including development of test plans and support of test users.  

  • Lead design sessions with cross-functional teams to review and document future state processes and system architecture.  

  • Support mentorship of other team resources in operational tools, architecture, design, and best practice to advance their maturity using automated testing and CI/CD tools to improve the velocity and quality of commercial platform development and improvement 

  • Collaborate on the development of templates and playbooks to ensure that the team is optimally positioned to leverage our collective knowledge and experience and ensure predictable, high-quality project outcomes.  

  • Engage with Evercommerce and subsidiary leadership on status updates, working sessions, and solution design.  

  • Communicate recommendations, project progress, and achieved outcomes through a variety of media, including: presentations, emails, and diagrams such as Lucid Chart, Figma, or similar.  

Skills and Experience: 

  • Engineering experience building applications and support scripts using modern languages like Python, Typescript, Golang, Ruby, C++ 

  • Experience creating and managing databases to support commercial applications and processes, including using SQL on a day to day basis and working in and around databases and other backend applications.   

  • Experience developing and maintaining web applications, with a foundational understanding of the fundamentals of HTTP, APIs, Oauth, and other core technologies. 

  • Experience with containerization and building and maintaining CI/CD Pipelines to support commercial applications, strong plus if with Salesforce 

  • Experience with Salesforce APEX, SFDX both STRONG pluses 

  • Experience with data engineering tools and platforms like dbt and ETL & reverse ETL both a STRONG plus 

  • Experience with Salesforce.com, CPQ administration, or other related work experience such as equivalent CRM administration, Zuora billing, operational data engineering and BI solutioning a strong plusThe ideal candidate will have worked in most of these areas and architected cross-platform solutions covering the entire operational value stream.  Also experience with Salesforce APEX development required. 

  • Well-versed and experienced with scrum and agile software development methods and tactics, including  epic and user story development, backlog grooming and refinement, and collaborating with engineering, product owner, and end-user stakeholders 

  • Understanding of commercial processes and terminology and general understanding of lead to quote and quote-to-cash and/or accounting principles; also understand services delivery processes like project management, implementation, product fulfillment, customer support, and technical support. 

  • Ability to advise and influence senior business leaders across organizational lines and develop visual artifacts and presentations to distill complex scenarios into understandable visual representations 

  • Ability to train and mentor operational consultants and analysts and train and influence up and down the organization to fill in experiential gaps required to execute operational engineering projects to completion. 

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and capable of meeting short-deadline projects daily  

  • Excellent attention to detail  

 

 

Where: Remote US, with 3-5 weeks of travel a year 
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $125,000 to $145,000 USD per year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
