We are currently seeking rising junior or senior students to apply for our internship program. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience and contribute to meaningful projects.

We are looking for an Internal Audit Intern to join our Internal Audit & Controls team. This role will support the internal audit team in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of the organization's internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Become familiar with the EVCM internal audit & controls environment
  • Learn to utilize our audit & controls governance tool, AuditBoard
  • Participate and take notes during meetings
  • Participate in SOX walkthroughs, including the preparation of walkthrough deliverables
  • Assist in testing SOX controls
  • Other ad hoc analysis / projects
  • Deliver an internal audit/SOX project to select EVCM executive team members at the completion of your internship (project specifics TBD)

Qualifications:

  • Major in Finance, Accounting, or similar undergraduate degree
  • High level of attention to detail/accuracy.
  • Positive attitude approaching any task no matter how big/small.
  • Approaches projects with creativity and is willing to think outside of the box.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to travel for Denver, Colorado for the intern kickoff week and possibly the Intern executive presentations.

What we are looking for:

  • Rising juniors and seniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Applicants to be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis from June to August 2025.
  • Must be willing to commit to a 10-week internship I the Summer of 2025 (June-August) on a full-time basis.
  • Enthusiastic about learning the discipline of Product Marketing.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willing to learn and collaborate with your teammates.

Where:

The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position.

Compensation:

The target base compensation for this position is $20.00 USD per hour. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
