The Events Specialist works closely with the Director of Demand Generation and Marketing Operations Lead to plan and execute Pathify’s vibrant event program. They are a creative force and logistical mastermind, ensuring Pathify’s in-person and virtual events are both memorable and seamlessly executed. The Events Specialist is a key player in ensuring the success of our events from initial concept to completion, including researching venues, coordinating logistics, managing schedules and overseeing all the details that make Pathify shine.
This role requires developing strong relationships across the organization and a desire to support our Sales and Customer Success teams in their efforts to generate revenue from events. The Events Specialist must be passionate about delivering exceptional experiences for attendees while being an ambassador for the Pathify brand. The Events Specialist is also responsible for maintaining our inventory of promotional materials and swag, managing our Golden, Colorado storage unit and ensuring timely shipping of materials to event locations.
From maintaining an organized calendar of upcoming events to troubleshooting on-site issues as they arise, attention to detail and a proactive communication style are essential in this role to foster collaboration and ensure every event exceeds expectations.
The Events Specialist must be based in the Denver Metro area.
Essential Functions:
- Execute in-person and virtual events from concept to completion
- Research and book appropriate venues, accommodations and vendors
- Coordinate event logistics, including scheduling, registration and technical requirements
- Track event expenses and assist in budget planning
- Order, manage and ship promotional materials and swag
- Manage storage unit inventory located in Golden, Colorado
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure event success
- Oversee on-site event execution, troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Maintain an organized calendar of upcoming events and deadlines
- Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product and Marketing, fostering strong interdepartmental communication and collaboration

Education, Experience and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1+ years of experience in a customer-facing role with a sales, community and/or marketing focus
- 2+ years of experience in event planning or coordination
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to think on your feet
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time for events
- Experience with Salesforce, Hubspot and Goldcast preferred
- Higher education professional experience a plus
- Start-up professional experience a must
Working Conditions:
- Where a Pathify office exists, a typical temperature-controlled office environment. Where no Pathify office exists, the employee will work virtually from home.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, lifting, walking, standing, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions
- Physical Demands: Must be able to occasionally lift, carry and balance up to 25 pounds
Expected Hours of Work:
This role is considered full-time, working approximately 40 hours per week and is exempt from overtime. As this role includes supporting events, some early mornings, late nights and weekend availability will be required. We are an international company, and you will likely work with customers and colleagues across time zones and continents. Some meetings will be scheduled during unconventional work hours to meet the needs of our customers or your colleagues and their workday schedules.
