This position is based in our Charlotte, NC office, with priority given to candidates open to hybrid work (3 days a week in the office). We will not consider remote applications for this position.

We’re seeking an Event Executive to join our dynamic team and support the development of consumer experiences for a key Financial Services Client. In this role, you will be an integral part of a team responsible for coordinating and activating upcoming soccer events.
The ideal candidate will be organized, detail oriented, and a creative problem-solver with excellent communication skills. We’re seeking a highly collaborative self-starter who is comfortable taking initiative and sharing ideas. - Assist with vendor management, logistical planning, and preparation of event documents to aid in execution/recapping
- Develop agendas and take detailed notes for weekly meetings with both internal and external partners
- Assist team with accreditation support
- Assist team managing all merchandise, premiums, and uniforms
- Develop a knowledge and understanding of client’s sponsorship portfolio and business initiatives
- Participate in brainstorms, creative ideation, and provide research as requested
- Additional projects as assigned, including but not limited to: providing assistance on various tasks, conducting research relevant to our scope, and offering support to the team in preparation for the multiple events

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- A passion for soccer and eagerness to stay up to date with developments in the industry
- 1-2 years’ experience within an agency or client service experience and event planning preferred
- The approach that no job is too small or too big
- A can-do attitude and desire to succeed
- Eagerness to brainstorm and come up with fun ideas
- You are coachable and willing to adapt in a fast-paced work environment
- A sense of humor and the ability to tell a good story
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- A go-getter, you demonstrate initiative and accept new challenges
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time
- Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and work weekends or holidays as needed. Anticipated travel level: High (45%-75%)
This position pays an annualized rate of $42,000 and is overtime-eligible.
