Position Summary
SRS Acquiom is currently recruiting for an Escrow and Payment Solutions Specialist to support the administration of M&A escrow, payment, and solicitation engagements. This role is designed to centralize and streamline high‑volume, high-impact operational tasks to support the overall mission of the Relationship Associate and Relationship Management teams.
The Specialist will support the lifecycle of our transactions by managing invoicing workflows, tracking and following up on outstanding invoices, assisting with escrow engagements, and handling key document and data processes. This individual will work closely with Relationship Associates, Relationship Managers, Operations, Payments, Client Services, Finance, and Compliance to ensure efficiency and consistency in the administrative steps that underpin the Escrow and Payment Solutions (“EPS”) group’s transaction workflows.
The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, process‑driven, and comfortable handling large volumes of transactional data. This role plays a critical part in enabling our EPS group to deliver an exceptional client experience.
Importantly, as the EPS group refines its processes and identifies opportunities for greater efficiency, this role may expand in scope over time, ultimately taking on a broader range of operational responsibilities.
Location: This is either a hybrid position based in our Denver, CO office or a fully remote position within the Continental United States.
Compensation: The salary range for this position is between $62k and $70k, depending on experience level.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support the Relationship Associate (“RA”) team and the EPS group broadly by assisting with key administrative and operational steps involved in escrow and payment transactions.
- Manage the invoicing process end-to-end:
- In collaboration with the RA, draft and submit invoices using internal tools;
- Track issuance and payment status of invoices across the EPS group’s transactions;
- Send standardized reminders on past-due invoices on behalf of EPS, escalating issues as appropriate;
- Coordinate with the Finance team to reconcile invoice statuses and discrepancies.
- Coordinate escrow funding and documentation activities by creating deal-specific records, tracking deposits into escrow, and ensuring that documentation appropriately reflects deal terms.
- Review external communications to support the process of collecting payee information using SRS Acquiom’s proprietary platform, Clearinghouse.
- Monitor internal communication channels to ensure that requests related to EPS are routed appropriately.
- Identify recurring patterns or bottlenecks in invoicing, funding, or document workflows and raise them to RA leadership for continuous improvement.
- Collaborates across internal teams to ensure smooth information flow during key transaction stages.
- As the first hire into this newly created role, the responsibilities of an Analyst may grow over time to support a broader set of functions critical to EPS's efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience (M&A, banking, or finance helpful).
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Experience in an operational, financial, or administrative capacity within financial services, legal services, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Comfort working with financial documentation, invoices, and data systems (experience with NetSuite, Workday, or similar is a plus).
- Ability to manage multiple competing deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent written communication skills for clear internal correspondence.
- A process‑minded and improvement‑oriented approach, with interest in helping refine and optimize workflows over time.
