Work as R&D Metals/Implant Equipment Development Engineer to lead the deployment and optimization of an industry-first atomic layer deposition (ALD) machine, enabling the development of next-generation process nodes for advanced memory chips. Oversee the installation, qualification, and integration of this innovative tool into the production environment, collaborate with crossfunctional teams to enhance manufacturing precision and production efficiency. Conduct feasibility studies and process integration evaluations for advanced equipment technologies projected into the future. Manage complex projects, deliver innovative solutions to support company's technological roadmap and reinforce leadership in the global semiconductor industry.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Position requires education or experience in:
1. ULVAC ENTRON, AMAT ENDURA, CANON or any other PVD or CVD Semiconductor Platforms, including maintenance;
2. Design of Experiments (DOE);
3. Thin Films CVD/PVD plasma processing principles and plasma sources used in industrial Semiconductor plasma reactors;
4. Semiconductor equipment knowledge, including electronics, pneumatics, plumbing, thermal control, vacuum, mechanical, and RF/DC.
5. Providing hardware technical support, including addressing the Source of Variation (SOV) issues in process development;
6. Coordinating maintenance and documentation for Thin Films CVD equipment.
