The EPC Sr. Project Manager/Director will lead a multidisciplinary team and coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, vendors, subcontractors, and client stakeholders across chemical, petrochemical, refining, energy, manufacturing, midstream, infrastructure, and other heavy industrial facilities. The position works in both office and industrial field environments, and significant travel and/or extended onsite presence may be required depending on project location and phase.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee procurement of long-lead equipment and critical materials, and lead the selection and management of major vendors and subcontractors, resolving commercial, technical, and schedule issues.
  • Direct construction activities across multiple contractors, monitoring productivity, manpower, quality, and progress, and resolving field issues that could affect cost, schedule, safety, or quality.
  • Establish and maintain the integrated EPC project schedule, identify critical-path activities, and develop and implement recovery plans when needed.
  • Maintain accountability for project financial performance, including budget, forecasts, cash flow, earned value, and estimate-at-completion, taking corrective action on unfavorable cost trends.
  • Manage change orders, claims, and commercial issues, ensuring scope changes are documented, priced, approved, and incorporated while protecting the company's contractual position.
  • Partner with project controls to define KPIs, review monthly reports, and provide accurate forecasts to senior management.
  • Lead the project risk-management program, maintaining risk registers, developing mitigation and contingency plans, and escalating significant issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure quality requirements are defined and met, coordinating inspection, testing, documentation, and support for client audits and quality reviews.
  • Plan commissioning and startup from early in execution, and coordinate system turnover, punch-list completion, performance testing, turnover documentation, and final acceptance.

Requirements

 Required Skills:
