Enterprise Software Sales Executive - Consulting Industry

Location: New York Office (Hybrid) Preferred, or Remote U.S. Eastern or Mid-U.S.

Intapp is seeking an enterprise software sales executive (Managing Director MD) for the Consulting/Professional services vertical market. This candidate will be a senior sales/individual contributor representing Intapp in the U.S.   The territory includes the most prestigious consulting and advisory firms; the MD will have familiarity and a solid degree of market and situational awareness to call on Risk, Compliance, Operational, IT, Transformational and Business Development leaders. 

The types of clients or targets that Intapp pursues in this market are firms like McKinsey & Company, Bain Consulting, FTI Consulting, Boston Consulting Group, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, PwC, ZS Associates, Oliver Wyman, RSM, Baker Tilly, CBIZ, etc.  Our clients are the complex firms that deliver services to the leading corporations, private equity, legal and related industries.  Our software ensures they operate a more efficient and effective firm, so their time can be spent bringing value to their clients.

 

The MD will be a trusted advisor to the market, helping ensure Intapp prospects and clients understand our vertical SaaS solutions.. The MD will work with professional services firms to achieve success with their implementation and achieve the value expectations they have of the respective solution. They will represent Intapp in the market and will serve as the voice of the company in the defined geographic territory and at company sponsored events.

 

They will be responsible for identifying opportunities for new business by developing leads, following up and arranging introductions to potential new customers, and growing the existing customer base. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success, an existing network of contacts in the defined territory, and prior experience in either consulting, legal, financial services, banking, accounting or other professional services organization. Extra emphasis with existing Intapp clients in the consulting and/or accounting vertical market is highly valued.

What you'll do:

  • Engage and build relationships with all current and potential clients in the defined territory- which is global consulting and/or accounting firms
  • Educate them about Intapp products and solutions and raise awareness
  • Identify and aggressively develop a pipeline of opportunities using the Intapp Sales Methodology
  • Meet and exceed sales goals – both for new sales and add-on sales and upgrades
  • Support client success projects and lead efforts to improve relationships with clients
  • Lead Account Management to ensure Annual Renewals of Client Agreements and support collections

What you will need:

  • 8-15 years proven track record selling Enterprise SaaS software to large the Consulting firms mentioned in paragraph two this document is ideal.
  • Success with Complex Consultative Enterprise SaaS Software Sales Processes, including success selling multiple transactions to the same client buyer (not one and done)
  • You have experience running complex multi-million $ pursuits
  • Proven track record of meeting forecasts and exceeding sales goals
  • Superb verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential. Ability to  influence, network and engage at the board or executive level (CIO/CTO, CFO, CMO, Risk Partner, etc.); an MBA is not required but highly valued
  • Strong analytical skills and an understanding of Ai is preferred
  • Proven track record of strategic account planning and execution
  • ·Results oriented, resourceful problem-solver, comfortable working in a demanding, fast paced, high growth sales environment
  • Client focus (internal and external) with a strong business expertise/board room presence
  • Sharp familiarity and proven adherence to industry standard enterprise software sales methodologies
  • Experience keeping and maintaining outstanding and pristine CRM data for your strategic accounts
  • ·Track record of meeting short, medium, and longer-term territory nurturing, cultivating and advancement objectives
  • ·Strong appetite for continuous learning and acceptance of a high performing, change oriented team environment
  • ·Efficient time management, multi-tasking, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • ·Strong leader, self-starter, reasonable team player, and a relentless over-achiever with unimpeachable integrity
  • ·Responsible, reliable and honest
  • Reasonable national and/or regional travel is required in this role; some international as needed
  • Maintain a healthy funnel so quota can be exceeded
  • Methodology:  Proven expertise in high business value solution selling, complex consultative sales and value engineering methodologies
  • Bachelor's Degree
