  • Functional and Technical Expertise: Quickly learn and deeply understand Workday’s technical ecosystem, financial processes, and integration methodologies; provide informed decisions and direction on process simplification and solution design.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a key liaison between accounting, finance, and technology teams, ensuring alignment between business requirements and technical execution.
  • Project Leadership and Governance: Guide and oversee implementation activities, managing milestones, risks, and dependencies effectively to ensure timely, within-budget delivery.
  • Documentation and Accountability: Maintain comprehensive documentation of functional scope, changes, and rationale; manage acceptance of delivered functionalities against documented scope and business expectations.
  • Future-Proofing and Scalability: Ensure solutions are foundational yet adaptable for future transformation phases (e.g., HR, payroll), maintaining an enterprise-wide perspective.
  • Executive Engagement: Collaborate with executive sponsors and business stakeholders to build alignment, excitement, and ownership over the transformation initiative.
  • Implementation Standards: Adhere to Professional Services (PS) implementation standards and methodologies, ensuring best practices and consistent approaches.
  • Solution Validation: Validate, gather, and assess complex solutions to make thoughtful recommendations to SI partners.
  • Configuration and Integration: Gain proficiency in the configuration and integration of solutions to ensure effective deployment.
  • Process Documentation: Initiate, suggest, document, and assist in creating repeatable business processes and artifacts to scale the organization.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Document transformation scope, requirements, and solution/process design for different financial modules.
  • Collaborate closely with Program Managers to successfully deliver projects.
  • Participate actively in the transformation lifecycle, from requirements gathering and functional mapping to design, delivery, and testing.
  • Engage with functional stakeholders to capture requirements and manage SI implementation scope.
  • Lead product delivery aspects within the transformation scope.
  • Align business functionality with technical architecture.
  • Lead solution design discussions and manage integration points between CLM and other platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Validate/gather functional and technical requirements, and produce solution designs.
  • Create and obtain customer sign-off on core project documentation, including requirements, user stories, solution designs, and architecture.
  • Execute technical implementation activities, test plan validation, data migration, UAT, SIT testing, and Hypercare support.
  • Identify and proactively manage engagement-related risks.
  • Provide training and reusable project artifacts to promote scalability.
  • Administration (5%)
  • Maintain internal communications with the project team, team lead, and management.

  • Practitioner-level experience in legal operations, contract management, and commercial contract administration.
  • Strong capability in translating business requirements into technical specifications and implementing solutions.
  • Exceptional people and time management skills, highly organized, motivated, and driven.
  • Proven ability to lead fast-paced and complex projects.
  • Excellent communication, escalation management, and presentation skills.
  • Strong ownership and accountability for assigned tasks, effective time management, and flexibility.
