Responsibilities
- Align with the organization’s business strategy and goals as well as its data and technology landscape
- Identify and define business capabilities to guide target architecture
- Guide creation of integrated business and technology roadmap
- Experience managing relationships, coalitions, and communication with senior and executive-level business and technology leaders to influence desired outcomes without direct authority
- Define the overall architecture, identify and evaluate risks, and perform assessments and gap analysis, taking into consideration options and tradeoffs
- Ensures scalability, security, maintainability, and performance
- Identify integration with enterprise systems, third parties, and data sources
- Provide oversight for all aspects of ongoing operations, maintenance, and management of the solution domain
- Drive and own the selection of appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools for platform implementation
- May assist in platform selection and implementation of platforms
- Manage reference architecture patterns, methodologies, processes, and workflows
- Establish and enforce platform standards, coding practices, and guidelines
- Stay up to date on the latest trends and best practices
- Proven expertise in managing and leading cross-functional matrixed teams.
- Ability to coach and mentor team members to elevate performance, skills development, and drive results
Education
Requires bachelor's degree in computer science, Information technology, or related field
Work Experience
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in enterprise architecture and software development
3+ years of proven experience managing and leading cross-functional matrixed teams
Client facing experience including pre-sales activities and meeting with c-suite executives
Technical Skills
Must be proficient in relevant architecture modeling tools (e.g.., UMO, Archimate)
Enterprise level experience in comparable/headless enterprise architectures and microservices environments
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and presentation), collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Excellent attention to detail
- Curious learner eager to dive deep into various areas of organization, information, and technology architecture.
- Ability to flexibly accept dynamically changing priorities
- Ability to comfortably work in a challenging and fast-paced environment and work with senior leaders, including C-Level, to identify technology trends and disruptors and develop strategic plans.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution.
- A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected
