Position Summary:
Join the Vallen team as an Enterprise Architect. An Enterprise Architect designs and aligns an organization's IT strategy with its business goals, acting as a bridge between tech and business by overseeing IT infrastructure, processes, and systems to ensure efficiency, scalability, and future readiness, involving stakeholder collaboration, architecture modeling, governance, and managing data, applications, and technology roadmaps. Key duties include analyzing current systems, identifying improvements, defining future state blueprints, managing technology portfolios, and enforcing standards across the enterprise.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure IT initiatives directly support business objectives, linking technology to enterprise-wide goals.
- Architecture Design: Develop and maintain blueprints for the enterprise's data, application, technology, and security architecture.
- Governance & Standards: Create and enforce policies, standards, and processes for IT asset management and usage.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior management, business leaders, and technical teams to gather requirements and communicate vision.
- Analysis & Improvement: Evaluate existing systems, identify gaps, and propose solutions for modernization, efficiency, and cost reduction.
- Roadmap Development: Plan for future technological needs, including cloud adoption, data strategies, and infrastructure upgrades.
Key Skills:
- Technical Expertise: Broad knowledge of software engineering, cloud, security, networks, data, and virtualization.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business processes and industry trends.
- Analytical & Critical Thinking: Ability to assess complex systems and solve problems strategically.

- Framework Knowledge: Familiarity with architectural frameworks (like TOGAF) and modeling tools.
Job Qualifications:
- Often requires 7+ years in IT analysis or related roles, with broad experience across different business sectors and technologies.
- Prevents IT silos, ensuring technology works cohesively across departments.
- Drives digital transformation by creating scalable, future-proof IT environments.
- Maximizes ROI on technology investments by aligning them with strategic goals.
