We have an exciting opportunity for an Enterprise Architect to join Norgine.

The person holding this position will report to Senior Director Technology and be a member of the IT team.

The core responsibility of the of Enterprise Architect is to is responsible for defining and maintaining the enterprise-wide technology architecture that aligns with business and IT strategies. The role supports long-term planning by developing reference architectures and standards across applications, data, infrastructure, and integration domains. This includes efforts to reduce complexity and technical debt, enabling efficient and scalable business processes. The role involves collaboration with Data Architects, Technology Architects, and Product Owners to support and enable the organization’s digital transformation roadmap.

This will be an 18 month FTC role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

·       Define and maintain enterprise architecture standards and reference models for systems, data, integration, and security.

·       Develop architecture roadmaps that align with business strategies, ensuring appropriate prioritization of modernization and transformation initiatives.

·       Coordinate architecture reviews for new and existing systems to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.

·       Identify and reduce duplication and complexity in the application landscape through standardization and rationalization initiatives.

·       Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for adoption based on business value and fit within the enterprise architecture.

·       Collaborate with Solution Architects and Data Architects to ensure data models and systems integrate effectively within the enterprise framework.

·       Support product teams and project managers in defining technical requirements and selecting appropriate tools and platforms.

·       Drive simplification initiatives and ensure architecture decisions promote operational efficiency and support long-term scalability.

·       Maintain documentation for architectural standards, principles, and guidelines.

·       Provide governance and oversight of technology adoption and implementation across the enterprise.



Requirements

·       Experience in enterprise or solution architecture roles within a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.

·       Knowledge of enterprise systems and applications used in these industries.

·       Experience with hybrid technology environments including on-premise infrastructure, Azure, OCI, and SaaS platforms.

·       Understanding of integration patterns, APIs, and middleware technologies.

·       Ability to lead architecture governance and standardization initiatives.

·       Experience working with cross-functional teams including data, infrastructure, and application architects.

·       Knowledge of IT security, compliance, and regulatory requirements relevant to manufacturing/pharma sectors.

·       Proficiency in architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and modeling tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

·       TOGAF certification or equivalent.

·       Experience with ERP, MES, LIMS, and other industry-relevant systems.

·       Familiarity with agile methodologies and enterprise portfolio management.
