About the position  

Keyfactor is expanding and looking to add an enthusiastic, professional, and goal-oriented Federal Sales Director to our Federal Sales Team to sell into US Department of Defense.  Federal Sales Directors with Keyfactor work in a high-level consultative role, meeting with “C” level executives and Program Level teams when selling Keyfactor’s products and services to potential DOD customers. The right candidate will be highly proficient in establishing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers up to and including the “C” level and have a proven ability to close business across the US Department of Defense.

Keyfactor leads the market in digital identity management solutions for data, devices, and applications. Keyfactor offers Modern PKI, Certificate Lifecycle Management and Secure Signing solutions to support organizations Global, enterprise and edge machine identity and encryption programs.  

The position is based in the US. Applicants must hold U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent resident status.

Responsibilities 

  • Conduct meetings and close business across the US Department of Defense, Military Departments and Defense Agencies
  • Develop new accounts while maintaining and sustaining successful long-term relationships with key decision makers up to and including the “C” level. 
  • Meet and exceed qualified quota goals for assigned territory and targeted accounts.
  • Develop product, market and competitor knowledge. 
  • Effectively create and manage pipeline in accordance with creation and conversion expectations.  
  • Manage opportunities effectively and maintain good visibility within Salesforce. 
  • Work closely with Channels and strategic alliances to gain market traction in the territory.
  • Represent Keyfactor at DOD, Military Department(s) and Defense Agency specific local and national tradeshows

Skills and Qualifications 

  • Minimum of 10 years’ successful experience developing Enterprise Cybersecurity sales opportunities and closing enterprise software and SAAS business across DOD and Military Departments. Preference given to candidates with a strong understanding of DOD contracting process, established relationships with territory contacts including, FSI’s, VAR’s and history of success across DOD.
