- Design, produce, and finish static visual presentation products to communicate concepts or ideas visually.
- Work with analytic authors and dynamic production teams to support the production and dissemination of finished geospatial intelligence products.
- Provide visualization support to enhance the production and dissemination of finished geospatial intelligence products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design graphics for NGA standard products, briefing materials, and visual aids.
- Create custom graphics by translating complex data into easy-to-understand visuals.
- Provide guidance to customers on design, layout, and presentation of products.
- Review visual elements for adherence to IC, Agency, and ATC standards.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Utilize knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and other software to generate graphics in support of NGA products.
- Apply knowledge of design principles, web and multimedia technologies, and GEOINT principles to support the generation of NGA products.
- Troubleshoot production issues and share expertise with other team members.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- At least three years of relevant graphic design experience
- Strong computer skills and demonstrated proficiency on PC platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Working familiarity with structured authoring software (using SGML, HTML, and XML)
- Demonstrated expertise using Adobe Creative Suite
- Working knowledge of MaPublisher and ArcGIS
- Demonstrated aptitude in working with current, industry-standard electronic publishing computer systems, applications, and databases
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of web and multimedia technologies
- Familiarity with the US Intelligence Community, specifically imagery collection and exploitation
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Preferred candidates will have:
- At least three years of relevant graphic design experience along with an undergraduate or graduate degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Arts, Computer Graphics, or any Liberal Arts or technical degree where graphic arts or digital image processing is core to the degree. Alternatively, at least seven years of graphic design experience without the above-specified degree
- Advanced knowledge of design principles, web and multimedia technologies, and GEOINT principles
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
