SUMMARY:

The Project Manager, Automation manages and executes Automation projects through effective project planning, establishing, and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders, and efficient utilization of resources.  This role creates high quality projects and ensures on-time delivery of assigned projects.

JOB DUTIES

  • Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

  • Ensures all assigned projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.

  • Acts as primary liaison between sales and operations.

  • Assists in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.

  • Ensures resource availability and allocation.

  • Develops a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.

  • Manages changes to the project scope, schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques.

  • Writes and submits change orders to customers or key stakeholders.

  • Measures project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.

  • Successfully manages the relationship with the client and all stakeholders and negotiates an outcome that meets the needs of the company and client.

  • Performs risk management to minimize project risks.

  • Establishes and maintains relationships with third parties/vendors.

  • Develops scopes of work, estimates and proposals in conjunction with the applications/proposals group.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Typically requires a bachelor's degree and (3) three to (five) five years of related experience or an equivalent combination.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
